We are an older people’s organisation that, promotes the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing, of older people by bringing them together through a range of physical, educational and vocational activities. We also offer fully accredited First aid courses which include, cardiovascular resuscitation and defibrillation plus mental health first aid courses for Staff and volunteers.
Summary of services
Types of services offered We offer activities that help promote and increase physical and mental health and wellbeing. Older people benefit from Yoga and Tai Chi as it helps improve balance and helps reduce falls. We also offer digital classes which help people get more out of their digital devices, which help tackle loneliness and isolation. Other, activities include Spanish and art, which help increase and strengthen memory. We also offer fully accredited one day training in Mental Health First Aid and Emergency First Aid which includes cardiopulmonary resuscitation and defibrillation (SQA level 6) delivered by a NUCO qualified instructor.
