Types of services offered MOT 4 MEN MOT 4 MEN is an innovative programme that enables men to re-frame their health needs within the context of a vehicle's MOT needs and providing men with this analogy supports empowers them to make changes to their lifestyle and help seeking behaviours thereby improving health outcomes. It encourages males to examine and challenge their attitude towards their health’ It enables males to prioritise their health needs more effectively. It challenges and influences male help seeking behaviours. DRUMBEAT The name DRUMBEAT is an acronym for Discovering Relationships Using Music, Beliefs, Emotions, Attitudes, and Thoughts and or current part-time Coordinator is a trained and experienced facilitator in this programme. DRUMBEAT is an Australian programme developed by Holyoakes and it is a highly effective, evidence-based programme which helps participants to reduce stress, build self-esteem, increase emotional wellbeing and improve relationships thereby achieving positive outcomes for people. It incorporates hand drumming, behavioural therapeutic principles and cognitive and dialectical elements to achieve positive outcomes. DRUMBEAT facilitates the social and emotional skills for healthy relationships and values. This process of re-connection with self and interconnection with others enables profound social and behavioural change. Independent research indicates that the programme can lead to: •Better self-esteem, sense of belonging, co-operation and emotional stability; •Decreased stress and anxiety; •Improved relationships and interaction with others.

Duration: Varies from group to group or workshops. Both programmes can be delivered in 2-3 hour workshops, or taster sessions, and or up to full day events in groups.

Price range: Minimum £400; upwards of that via negotiation depending on hours and venue.
